Welcome to the Anime.Au.11 site, hosted by the ANU Anime Society. Our membership includes students and members of the general public. We are devoted anime fans who watch recent anime from Japan and we decided that as well as sharing our love of anime and Japanese popular culture we wanted to to do something to support the Japanese people in the wake of the earthquake and tsunami. In other words we wanted to give something back to Japan, that has given so much to us. We hope that we inspire other Anime clubs all over the world to join us by giving back something to that inspiring and courageous nation. So you who love anime join us in Canberra on May 15 to celebrate and honour Japan and Japanese popular culture.
